11/05/24. 12:08am. MVFD dispatched mutual aid to Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department, after Mahopac Falls Fire Department was dispatched to an original 911 call reporting a porch fire. First arriving Mahopac Falls units quickly confirmed a working structure fire requesting One Tanker, One Tower Ladder and One Ambulance to the scene.

MVFD responded with car 18-1-1, 18-1-2, 18-1-3, Tanker 18-4-1, Tower Ladder 18-5-1 and Ambulance 18-7-2.

Additional fire and ambulance companies assisting at the scene and back filling stations were Putnam Valley Fire Department as the Fast Team, Carmel Police Department, NY, Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Carmel Fire Dept. NY, Somers Volunteer Fire Department, Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association, Kent Fire Department, Lake Carmel Fire Department. Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services (Fire Investigation Team & Battalion Chief)

Ambulances transported several subjects to Westchester Medical Center for treatment and evaluation. Fire companies remained on scene for approximately 3 1/2 hours before returning to service.
