The Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department has a Board of Fire Commissionioners which consists of 5 individules. When elected by the membership each commissioner is elected to serve a 5 year term. The Board of Fire Commissioners are the Chief Financial Officers of the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Once a individule has served on the board they are granted the title of Ex-Commissioner for all to acknowledge their dedication to the dept.
