3:53pm. MVFD operating with Carmel Police Department, NY and Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corp. at 551 Route 6 with a two car MVA with both vehicles into the building.
First arriving units were able to make sure all occupants were safely out of the vehicles and then set up temporary shoring for the overhead roof that had been compromised with two support columns being taken out by the vehicles.
One subject transported for medical evaluation. Traffic was slowed in the area for approximately 50 mins until the vehicles could be removed and the scene was turned over to the Town of Carmel building inspector. |
