6:30pm. This evening MVFD, Carmel Police Department, NY and Mahopac Falls Vol. Fire Department took part in the new 911 cross dedication and blessing set in the Saint John the Evangelist prayer garden.

The cross is handmade and holds a piece of steel from the World Trade Center within it.

The public who attended were invited and place candles at the base of the cross at the closing of the ceremony.
