10:10am. MVFD is operating at 395 Route 6 in the area of Pawsitively Petastic on a ruptured Natural Gas Line.

This will be an extended operation per Central Hudson Gas Company.

As a precaution Fire Department has excavated several several building in the immediate vicinity and continues to monitor gas readings.

The Putnam Bike Trailway has been also closed off from Batista Dr traveling south past the incident.

We will advise once the leak is controlled and access will be made available again.
