| 6:25pm. MVFD was dispatched with Carmel Police Department, NY to a residence on Dixon Road for a reported tree and wires down possibly causing a vehicle fire.
Arriving units discovered a large tree had come down pulling the primary lines down over the top of a vehicle parked in the driveway.
The energized lines ultimately let to the interior of the vehicle catching fire.
The fire department had to wait until the lines were de-energized by NYSEG before any action could be taken to extinguish the interior of the vehicle. |
