7:00pm. Tonight we had a vist from Mahopac Central School District Lakeview Elementary School 1st grade teacher Ms. Jennifer Malley. Ms. Malley a long time friend and supporter of MVFD explained that she had the Lakeview 1st grade teachers and classes participate in the Great Kindness Challenge. This event gave the children a chance to show appreciation to various organizations in the community.

The children were able to put together baskets of quick on the go snacks and Thank You cards not only for MVFD, but also Carmel Police Department and Carmel Highway Department. We at MVFD can not thank the teachers, parents and children enough for always thinking of us. We are so fortunate to have a community that cares for the workers that serve them.
