This morning around 9, Mahopac Fire & EMS were dispatched to a 2 car accident in the area of 668 Union Valley Rd. Along with units from Carmel Police, a call for a second ambulance from Mahopac Fall was dispatched. Chief Bill Nikisher arrived on the scene with Mahopac EMS and assumed Incident Command as EMT's began triage of the patients. One patient with non life threatening injury was prepared for transport as the call for the second ambulance was cancelled. Fire Police and Firefighters took control of traffic freeing up CPD Sgt. Terrazas and Officer Pearson to begin their investigation.
