08/05/23 11:00am. MVFD was once again honored to be asked to be part of the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation, Muddy Puddles Mess Fest. The Foundation is a great organization that is devoted to raising funds for research towards fighting childhood cancer. Every year MVFD looks forward to literally help cleaning up the mess. MVFD supplies a engine crew to rinse off the muddy children and a EMS crew to roam the event on our ATV to be ready for any emergencies that may arise. It is a day filled with smiles of children jumping in the mud pit, taking part in all the scheduled events like food fights, slip & slides, and many more. Each one the events are named in honor of a child who as loss their battle with cancer.
