On Wednesday night at approx. 9pm 2 cars collided with the impact on driver side to driver side entrapping both drivers in front of Cargain Funeral Home on RT 6. The first apparatus on scene was 18-7-2 (Ambulance) and immediately requested a second Ambulance and Rescue Truck and put Stat Flight on stand-by. 18-6-2 (Rescue Truck) arrived on scene shortly there after and immediately went to work on Vehicle 1. The driver side front and rear door and top were removed to extricate the patient 1. Vehicle 2 the driver side door was removed and patient 2 extricated. 19-6-1 (Mahopac Falls Rescue Truck) assisted with Vehicle 1. Medic 3 assisted with stabilization of patient 1. Stat Flight Arrived on scene and transported patient 1 to Westchester Medical Center. Patient 2 was transported by Ambulance to Westchester Medical Center.
